okie dokie. finally can come online to blog about camp again. stupid. entry better not get deleted cos of stupid error again...or i'll give up.
it's been a week since it ended. Even senior camp's already over now. Sigh...really miss it. Can't wait for next year's man! I wonder what it's like to be in the camp comm. I think it's real fun even though lots of commitment is needed. haha. Talking about camp comm, yeah! Those guys did a great job man. And if you who are reading this now are from the camp comm, thankew so much!!! Well done yeah! Thx for all the effort put in... and the time taken for the preparations, that started long b4 the camp itself...n for staying up till so late every night to plan the next day's games n activities for us...
Treasure hunt was fun! At night summore...all the better. But I was like so lousy lah...didn't even find a single one...out of 45 hidden everywhere...sighers! In the end my group (uno camino [spanish] - charlotte's group) found 10. Seemed like a lot...but other groups had more. Neeway, we got 100 points for that.
2nd day- Amazing Race around S'pore! Or rather...the west side only lah. Furthest we went was West Coast Park. Wow I loved it man. Quite tiring...but all in all, it rocked! yeah. First we had to go to Rail Mall n take all the names of the shops there. Next was Bukit Panjang Plaza - had to look for some labels of shops, n take their unit no. Quite hard...we split up, and at first I went with Priscilla n Steph (Priscilla's sch friend), then later I went with Aaron. Haha! I managed to find one...lol not very liao bu qi but at least sth huh. Pathetic me. Third stop: Chinese Garden. We actually wanted to take a but there...but realised it was quite a long journey, so we stopped at Bukit Gombak, then ran to the MRT station to take MRT there instead. We were the first to arrive there! :) We had to find 3 stones, the name of the building which had some stone saying sth sth ta4 in front of it. and thirdly, what the white turtle was looking at. We took a long time to find the 3 stones. When we finished, we were like, so tired...sighs! n then Aaron helped by running all the way back to the MRT station ahead of us, to get the next clue. Thx man! I really wanted to run...but was having a stitch...sway sia. Then we had to go to West Coast park. Actually, 3 teams got there at the same time...but we went the wrong way(sigh!) so we ended up the 4th to complete that station. We had to do the obstacle course, then flying fox. Last station was back to old church. We were given some questions like the name of the pastors...kindergarten school principal...etc. Whoa, there was a mistake leh, in one of our ans. Then we rushed back to count the no. of electric fans in the sanctuary again, and luckily, we were correct! Whoa, SO jin zhang sia..then all of us were like... QIONGGGGG!!! Last lap liao man! We really cheered one another on...ran all the way back even though we were like, dying already...so tired. And guess what! When we reached the finishing line...no one else was there, except Lionel, the "station master"!!! WE WON FIRST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! yeah!!!
Water games was fun too. Whoa the guys were so rough!!! Scary sia! They kick n beat n who noes what else...anyway in the end they decided that it wasn't fair play, so the points were just based on the no. of plastic bags we collected later...n we won! Haha not bad right? And who noes what they put in the pail sia. Soya bean milk + what else??? My poor bball tee. Luckily can wash off... :D
And best of all...the ultimate late night challenge, OF COURSE!!! Whoa charlotte, u really gave em a scare sia. I was scared by magdelene's feet! Can u imagine? Cos I went in, and I didn't look to the left where Charlotte was. I mean, you turn right to the stairs right, not left! Then I saw feet. And realised that someone was hiding. And I was about to say sth..when Priscilla n Steph started screaming. And then everyone started screaming...and me too. Why did I start screaming??? I don't even know and guess I never will. Their screams scared me I guess. LOL! Charlotte's face was painted all white...haha. We were supposed to guess the mastermind and if possible, murderer as well, of some crime. The victim, acted out by justin, got strangled. In the end, jeremy (tan ah seng) was the mastermind n his sis rosie (jane) was the murderer. We got the mastermind correct! :D
After that, we watched the tape of Singapore Idol. Taufik rocked!! Not that I support him...I still think jeassea deserved to go much further...but yeah, he does deserve the title, having improved SO much. "I dream" is a nice song yeah! Then we [amadea, eve, liz gan, grinch, ivan(not our church one), kelvin n can't rmb who else] stayed up the whole night...played cards, just sat around n crapped, watched "confessions..." for a while...n at 7 am, amadea n i fell asleep on the couch in the youth room. Haha. I couldn't take it anymore sia. But it was SO FUN!!!!!!!!!!!! Gosh, last year I almost also stayed up the whole night...but fell asleep before 6 i think.
I really miss camp...sigh!!!
