In the com lab now, just after PI aka Prefect's Investiture. It was quite fun I think, but the speeches were boring, as usual. But the guest-of-honour was Emma Yong or sth liddat, the Mediacorp Channel 5 actress. She acted in
First Touch, the wife of that Indian doctor. And her speech was nice man. Not like outstanding, but at least I managed to listen attentively to it, unlike those who MUMBLE into the mikes...and we can't hear a thing they're droning. Ok I shant complain, cos they will go like, "Put yourself in their shoes" and all that. lol, not like I've never spoken on stage? Aah whatever..
Waiting for Vinna and Joy to come back from guides and gym...then we'll go out for unch together. I am beginning to feel VERY GUILTY for not bringing my homework to school..cos I have SO MUCH time now, yet I'm sitting here BLOGGIN???!! gosh~!`~ And even still, I can't do my hw cos I didn't bring it. Sighsighsigh. There's a huge pile sitting on my desk at home. I hate homework...:(:(
Plus, I have many things to study, like bi ji, ting xie, for the stupid zi du kao cha, maths test on sets n stats, and lit-tkmb. Big help yah, and they just stacked up more n more projects on our tables on thursday, cos we have a sorta long wekend.
*change subject. angela from aussie was telling me how simple and EASY the life there is. I have emphasised a million times how great the life is in other countries, except third world ones, of cos. I WANNA GO TO NEW ZEEEEEEEEEE!!!! I'm like despo to go there... the countryside stuff and all the cool scenery S'pore totally lacks. And the atmosphere and environment there is like WHOA lor, compared to the highly-stressful S'pore society. And of cos, not forgetting that my ALL -TIME FAVE MOVIE WAS DUH, FILMED THERE. How cool is that?!!! I really wanna go there. Much better than S'pore. At least, for now, that's what I think. They say you're never satisfied with what you have, like eg. those in new zea may wanna come to S'pore to enjoy the WARMTH here when it's freezing winter in there. Aah well!
Anyway, I must also think about how FORTUNATE I am to be living in a DEVELOPED country instead of the terribly poor and impoverished places like Africa. S'pore is highly modernised, with all the high tech stuff like farming, instead of the subsistence kind. And we get GOOD, like WONDERFUL education here [?!] compared to them who can't even afford to go to school. And we're quite a rich country I guess, + we're not at war with any country, unlike Iraq. That means we won't suffer from any like, disaster? That will bring economic downfall...and we'll be in a BAD state then. And we have a very good govt, that knows how to stay calm through crises like Sars, etc. Yup, that's about it?
Lol! I'm no debater.
Finally, I conclude that it will still be better to live In new zea. After all the fuss, yeah. HAHAHA. *rolls on floor laughin at self
I met wei chong yesterday! Coming back from trng, saw him on the 190 bus, like the first time we met after the camp as well. Except, he wasn't with the other, which mae the 3 musketeers split, for once. He was with gf, wearing aes uni. [he wasn't] Few days b4, I saw Zhong Wei, on valentine's day. He was with his gf. the 1st time I saw only 1 of em, w/o the other 2. Didn't meet em at satay party, and they've stopped coming to church.
I am still feeling guilty that I'm not doing hw now. Staring at the com and feeling very very very guilty. AIZ. rgs is a bad influence. NEW ZEA'S BETTER!!!! =]
Should I change my skin? Saw 1 quite nice 1 that ro saw just now. It's called urm...sheesh i forgot. nvm!!
I have many new cd's!! :) They include busted, No. 1, planet shakers, hillsongs, etc.
Friendster is completely konked I think. Takes so long to load and all that lor. the valentine's day colour pink wsas quite weird, but it was a nice shade:)
Training yesterday was FUN!! :D Ok, it was k lah, but there was a match between Miss Xiu, Mr Ong, Mrs Lim, 2 sec 1's, against si hui, jamie, olivia, natasha and I. Trng on wed was changed to yesterday, that's y so few ppl came. They had 3rd lang. I MISS FRENCH. Anyway, yeah, the match was fun, and mr ong kept accusing our teams of things we never did, like getting ball out, fouling, blah. Sigh! This kind of biased player. Haiyoo. Did we win? I think so? Haha. Mr ong did all his funny tricks and "performed" for us. Which he hasn't done in quite a while, cos he wants us to display our skills instead of he scoring for us and all that. Guess he had to help that team yesterday? Cos there were sec 1's. Lol. And we did things like passes, and sat down on chairs to shoot. To train our arm extending, cos when we're sitting, we don't have the help of our legs, so we gotta really really extend our arms for more power.
I'm getting tire dof typing so much. Long entry this is, eh?
