Think they fought real hard though. They were losing quite some at the last few minutes of the game, like by 12-15 points or sth. And they caught up real quickly till they lost by a mere 3. 64-67.

Think why no one else in our class is taking geog is cos most of em take trip science, so they definitely choose lit :) Or some, history. Mine is cos I'm taking double. If I'd chosen trip science, I'll not take geog either! I MUST study lit no matter what. Not a single one of my 6 choices doesn't have lit in it. Eh, if there are 6 choices with lit in them lah. And I think my 4th choice is already trip humans!! I love humans. Humanities.

Debrief yest'd was not bad. Sounds so conclusive indeed. I took my lit test before that. Finally, yes. It was ok. Wrote on the candle in the wind ballad. It's so beautifully-written oh man. The title itself rocks. On princess diana's death. I hope I answered well. Wrote pretty long, to my surprise. 2 and 1/4 pages. The time extension helped, A LOT. 1 hour is like 50% more time! But still, it was so fast I didn't have time to think, just wrote crap till the end, whatever that came to my mind. Always the same for humans tests. Speed through. Wrote so much for question b. wrote on metaphor, simile, personification, run-on line, etc. but not exactly sure if it's correct. Sigh.

Dinner at swensen's. WHO CONVINCED ME TO PAY SO MUCH FOR THAT? Please, the food is worth $5 only. They specialise in ice-cream. Should have gone there for ice-cream instead. Money blown away! :((

Oh man I love the oompa loompas they're so small and cute! And the songs are so much nicer heard than read. Last time whenever a song was written in the book, I felt like skipping the pages.

And today in school I was suffering from the aftermath of FOP and maybe sonicfest. I was like jump, jump, jump, scream!!! Sing!!

Oh yes I was high in church yest'd too. Scared a load of people. Like daniel. Haha he was like "erh!". And eve went,"What FOP does to people..."
I miss it so much!

And I was also wondering about the way we worship God these days...the charismatic kinds especially. And I came to the conclusion that we are all worshipping the same God, and it doesn't matter how we worship, for the main purpose is to worship Him truly from you heart. And even if songs were rock or pop or hymns, it's still a form of worhsip to Him. Different people express their praise and thanksgiving differently, but cummon, it's still worshipping God.

I think woship is right just as long as we mean it from the bottom of our hearts, that we're really singing and praising the Lord.

Happy birthday Singapore. YAH RIGHT. Please, I don't exactly love my country you know. Of course, I agree that there're really great things here like prosperity, peace and harmony, cleanliness, schooling, etc. But on hind side [is it?] I still think there can be many more improvements made like development in the arts and sports instead of si3 du2 ke4 ben3 and don't know how to be creative. The world's greatest entrepeneurs succeeded not mainly because of IQ, but creativity, thinking outta the box, and street-smartness. They didn't exactly come form top schools like Harvard or Oxford did they. Humble beginnings that still led to achievements in life. Boy, do we lack that.

Today's training was quite slack. In fact, very. Shot around, learnt to block-out properly, free throws, and then we played matches. And after training we played a super amusing game of free throws. jamie, yen lin, si hui, olly, becky, claire, mr ong, mr ang and I. Stupid sihui had to start the AHEM distractions!! I still managed to get 3 of em in :) haha even with your AHEM noise!
Was quite disappointed in my performance today. Still, my determination lives on:)

Festival of Praise was an awesome experience. It was just ALL-OUT worship, no holding back, no hiding, no shunning. Just giving it all away, giving it all away to the Lord Jesus.

And it was one of the rare [yes, sadly] occasions I really felt and met God, and felt His Holy Spirit come upon me. I just felt His warm, loving hands touch me and take away all the pain, hurt and sadness I'd been keeping, and I released it all to Him. He made me cry in sadness and happiness at the same time, deep sadness as I looked and realised all that I'd been keeping from Him, extreme happiness as I finally let it out.

HOW CAN I EVER THANK YOU ENOUGH?
Cliché, yes, but I mean it. What did I even do to deserve all the great, sacrificial love the Lord has given, and will always give, me?

And I just wanted to sing of Your love forever. Nothing could express my immense thankfulness as I realised truly how ALMIGHTY God is, how majestic He is, yet He treats us as His sons and daughters, each and every one of us precious in His sight. Lifting my hands was not enough, singing my heart out was not enough. But it was all I could give, and that's what I gave.

I thank You with all of my heart, Lord. I THANK YOU.

The songs we sang at festival of praise were simply meaningful and extremely touching. Hillsong + Delirious. A good combination of both ultra lively songs and the more soulful, reflective ones. I love both, they've got sorta different purposes. And even though last lines were repeated non-stop before the song ended, there was meaning in them. And I just sang and sang and sang to God above.

On top of meeting God and having a close encounter with Him, I had a superb time of fellowship with many friends:). Friday I went with bballers olly, sihui, nata, athena. Saturday, whoa, big crowd sia. vinna, rowena, debbie, olly, sihui, eve, ethel, amadea, david [eve's kanchiong], john. Sadly we were separated cos my diff groups of friends were sitting in different areas. In the end I sat in the little corner [same as friday] with olly, sihui and john with vinna, ro, and debbie in front. Sorry again to eve and ethel that I abandoned you kuzzins! *smiles.

Match against Yisjun Town was pretty ok. MY REBOUNDS STUNK mainly. Just didn't zhua wen the ball, and every time I tried to shoot I got blocked. Uurgh, irritating. But I managed to do one pose-up then go in and scored 1. And, AND! I scored 3 outta 4 free throws!!!!

Mr ong said remember the good things and repeat them, forget the bad things as long as you learn to correct them. Haha see, I remembered the nice ones. LOL.

Well in terms of what to improve: BLOCK-OUT AND REBOUND. And GO UP QUICKLY after rebounding, don't need to take so long to look for the basket. Call for the ball more. Still too passive. And attempt to take shots MORE!! If you wanna make that shot, you GOTTA take that shot. Yupyup.

After the match we all went to Mac's. I have a craving for McSpicy double!! Just ate it 2 days ago and ate it again today. The stupid cashier didn't allow me to change fries to twister fries. BOO.

Wanna hear my long story of how it got left in the car this morn?
Here goes.
I was with my mom, and was taking it out to transfer it to the shoe bag from my school bag. Left it on top of something [in the dark, can't see]. Then thought my mom was helping me put it into the shoe bag, but apparently she didn't. So, after she got out of the car, I went to sleep. And when I reached school and got off, I prob left it behind somewhere in the car. But thought I didn't see anything in there when I closed the door. Anyway, maybe I dropped it when getting out. But i went to check and couldn't find it.
So now. I'm stuck with a senior jersey shorts that's green and black. OH NO WHAT IF I CAN'T PLAY.
Too bad.

And that means probably next week, cos I can't take it tomorrow [she better not make me, I'll cry], and next Monday is national day celebrations [I can take after that, but 204 has a girl taking on Thursday, so I also want that!], and Tuesday and Wednesday are National Day hols. Yay, I really hope it's Thursday.

Oh yes yes, new town won NANYANG not SC. Sorry, they're seriously stuck in my head that's why.
And we won Jurong today. But not exactly a good win. Their coach is sooooo sportmanshippish! Oh man! He said we played "marvellously", hahaha.

Oh man like jiayou me. Seriously jiayou. I'm so dead. Prob gonna get 1 3.5 gpa. EEKS.

I never NOT type about school work and rant and grumble on and on about the piling homeworkk to complete right. I think people like mr ang get tired of reading my daily verbal diarrhoea. Ahaha. It's called the life of a chao stressed poor girl LOL!

Yesterday's training was super slack. Cos we hadta have enough rest and rejuvenate all our energy for today' match and the thursday match. All we did was normal warm up, stretching, then practised some rolling with 1 centre on top, lastly learn how to po 2 3 zu zhi [jurong's gonna use it].

"My job is to go see all the teams and plan ahead our strategies, and your jobs are all to go play the game." Haha. Well. And our job's to win too! :)

Training ended at like 6. So early! Then we shot around and practised whatever we wanted [we were dismissed already], and then mr ang, olly, alina and I played abcd. Oh my gosh. I AM SHI BAI AT FREE THROWS. Trained a lot for it liao, and every time I shoot during training I can chop pretty ok, and even get 100% sometimes....but when it comes to a real match I always miss!!! And duh, you say it's cos of the pressure, but seriously NOT. I don't really feel pressurised when I step in front of the free throw line. Really. And I can feel I'm concentrating on the shot, but I still MISS!!!! The kind of hit the rim, hit the back of the rim, spin out of the net...shots.
Mr Ang was like chop, chop, chop. Chop somemore. We curse him and he continues to chop. Our sneezes are echoed by the sound of the net swishing. Our coughs are drowned by the ball thumping on the ground right below the net. Haha.

The free throw routine thingy we did on Friday was very helpful. For the 1st time I got 2 shots in consec, twice!! Woots. Haha. That's why I say that I don't exactly feel pressurised when shooting free throws. Yet, yesterday when we were playing abcd I missed practically ALL my free throws.

Oh mr ang says I have to be more active during matches, like learn to read the game and predict the next move.
I couldn't agree more. Somehow I think I really seldom call for the ball. I don't! WHY? :(
