DG chalet!!!Aww man. My hair's still wet. So wet. How am I gonna sleep like that? I'm really sleepy. Heh. Sigh. Slept so much at chalet. 4 hours?! Gah. Bad bad bad.
I am yawning like crazy now. Oh geez. Maybe I won't blog about the chalet tonight after all. But all I can say, in this sleepy soon-zonking-out mood, is that I LOVED IT!!!!!!!! :D And today was even FUNNER!! Haha, oh maybe both were equally fun, but that's not the point anyway. Briefly first:
yesterday- tried to check in at 2.30, weren't allowed cause no one was above 18. got arnette who was at paya lebar to come settle the check-in for us. (THANK GOD for arnette! :))
- while waiting for the rescue team (of 1 person...) to arrive, we ate at the foodcourt opposite Wild Wild Wet.
- put down stuff (DELUXE ROOM whoa!! like a hotel, even! NICE MAN! :D), waited for peggy and chanyi to arrive
- charmaine, andrea, shermaine, seeyue, min feng and I cycled at pasir ris park while peggy and chanyi got the food over
- peggy, chanyi, fiona, dawn ARRIVED!!! WOOHOOOHOOOO at long last! :)
- BARBEQUE!! YEEHA! Fun fun fun. And woh, the heat and ash and smoke were killers. I choked on the smoke many many times. Not good for a throat that's worsening in condition currently.
- watched WORLD CUP! Germany won!! (what's so surprising.)
- walked around in cheers (bought food) and the downtown area
- played cards in chalet
- zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
today- woke up, checked out
- had Mac's for breakfast, sat around and talked (well actually, more like stone for the rest of them) for a while, dawn, andrea and I walked AROUND (hahahaha!) the area cause we were full and bored
- cycled!!! That's for charmaine, andrea, min feng, dawn and I. Shermaine, seeyue and chanyi stayed at the shops around the place and fiona and peggy played pool (not fairrr we're underaged:(((( by just 1 YEAR!!
- since everyone (except dawn, fiona, peggy, ME!) was so so SO STONED, we (most of us...) decided to head home (man, the disappointment on hearing that was like a huge rush) so then we began out loooooooooooong journey home.
- andrea, shermaine and I really didn't wanna go home so after thinking and choosing between options, almost everyone (andrea, shermaine, charmaine, min feng, peggy and I) ended up going to fiona's house. HAHAHAHAH. joke man. (oh yeah fiona decided not to go for the senior bbq cause she wasn't feeling very well. Ooh her voice is hoarse man!)
- played uno, monopoly, bridge, then one by one min feng, shermaine, andrea and charmaine went home. Left...just me. HA. And fiona and dawn, of course.
- played bridge and knaves (taught by smartypants fiona. It's a 3-player version of bridge, with WEIRDER rules and more strategy involved. Pretty interesting, but SIAO! Ha. Find out why.) and obviously, talked
- went to thomson plaza for dinner!! and talked and talked all the way from before to after (not like we stopped even when we got back to the house.)
- i got a lift from uncle Loi to serene centre!! And back home I came. Yup yup yup.
YAWN. Ha. Night!
Combined service tomorrow. 69th church anniversary. Wow. Our church is old:) We've received God's blessings and grown for such a long time! YEAH!
