getting down to blogging PROPERLY :) -about a lot of things.
Just saw the photos of the MUSIC TEAM OUTING :D Yeah man, it was really a day to remember. Didn't think we could plan it so well (yeah I really should say it was a great job:P) within such a short period of like 2 days?! Haha. Just 1 meeting with yvonne on wednesday and preparation on thursday. And bought a little food for the sandwich on saturday itself. Knowing I'm not a last-minute worker. Haha.
MANY THANKS TO YVONNE AND JEREMY!! Loved planning it with you guys! Woohoo! Fun fun. See another side of the music team members. Ha. We are NOT all-serious people. And we don't just play music all the time. Haha. Ok I don't think that's the impression anyone ever had of us but AAH whatever! Haha.

I do thank God for making the event such a success. Yeah we were tired and all...but you have to admit yuou HAD FUN right?! (haha. or you watch out. nah just kidding.) More and more people turned up ove th last few days. the turn-up wasn't that bad in the end...I think. But oh man. The music team is gonna get REAL BIG real soon. There're so many new members on the list! WOOHOO! Yes yes thank God :D

And DANIEL'S PARTY!!! OH MAN! That was serious craziness, from start to end. Hahahahahaha. HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY DANIEL:) FUNKAYY doc! Figured that'd work since I wasn't around to post a happy birthday yesterday? (for obvious reasons.) Haha. Please don't ask me what happened. HAHAHA. Oh nevermind. I broke my clean record! Aww man! How early! No actually not, just earlier than I intended. But it was so mild. Cheh. More would have been good:) But no. Haha. [WALKING AROUND! :P] Twas really really really really REALLY funny. Get jared to let you listen to the voice recording :P Oh but you may not get the jokes. You know that kinda have to be there at the exact moment to capture the essence of the umm, hiliarity? LOL, you get what I mean! HAha. And poor daniel got dunked 3 times!! HAHAHA! But that's what you get for holding a POOL PARTY, don't you?! Well ayemoss went in with him. Haha. Twice or thrice too.

The whole of June holidays has been really hectic for me. Want a full report of my schedule from day 1, I'll give it to you. Nuts. I can't find any day that I was home 24 hours. Seriously. WHY SO BUSY??!! Gosh. And now I haven't started much of my homework. So yeah I'm dead. And I'm still here blogging. Aah but like I said blogging is a necessity for me. Haha hey, it trains my writing skills. Lol.

WOOHOOO I've received the letter fiona posted! Yay she didn't forget. Aah I didn't think she would (WOULD YOU, FIONA?) Hahaha. And I really thought the postcards were special. Cheat my feelings cheat my money cheat my time! (quote fadhly! AAAH CAP!) But anyway, it was a letter and a letter is still a letter so I'm just happy to receive a letter! :D Oooh and I'm so glad I finally managed to pass aunty constance her letter. Heh. I found out who the NEW DGL is :D Teeheehee. From secret sources! Yeah right. And I thought it was supposed to be a surprise?! Hmm. I wonder...

Watched I Not Stupid Too while visiting my paternal grandma today. At last. Haha. I didn't bother watching at the CAC camp cause I already missed the beginning and I never like catching shows in the middle. The show really made me think. GOODNESS, what a privilege it is to be in RG! SERIOUSLY! It scares me to think of it. Among the top 5% or something like that in Singapore. Ohhh man. And yesterday when we were all ooh-ing and aah-ing at the whole bunch of MEDICINE students at daniel's party, it made me realise the craziness of RGS AND RJC. Prestige, prestige, prestige man. Pressure. Oh man! How to be an arts + humance student in RJ like that!!!!! Actually I'm pretty worried about my career. Really. I'm not exactly pursuing something really passionately yet and I think the "too-late" period is arriving soon. So I'm doomed for the rest of my life!! AAAH! You know like you always hear big celebrities being actors/actresses from young, like the age of 4 or something they already starred in the school play or that sorta thing. And by 15 they were lead actors in their school drama group. It's like, their path was marked out for them since young already. Things like that don't happen overnight. And I'm 15 now and I haven't done anything! OH NO! WHAT HAVE I BEEN DOING FOR 15 YEARS!! Ok I'm 14+. What's the diff.

Oh yeah. I not stupid too reminded me of the CAC camp 2nd day (or last day. dots...) workshop on CONNECTING WITH MAN, in other words friendship. The guy said this: Notice that the people whom you see SERIOUSLY stick to one another through thick and thin, be there for each other NO MATTER WHAT, are, guess who?
Gangs.
Really. When they say they'll always be there to save you from your trouble, they mean it. You call them up and the whole gang comes running and ready for a fight. And they will fight and die for their "brothers". They mean it.
I think that's something we should indeed look up to, regardless how notorious such people are, especially in the eyes of Christians. I do admire their loyalty towards their "brothers".
And there was one part in the movie where joshua ang reached out his hand to shawn lee when shawn lee fell in the carpark (running away after stealing the old woman's necklace), and the camera zoomed in on the scene of hand pulling hand up.
WOW.
It was so touching. Cliche as it is, friends picking you up when you fall, but this one was SERIOUS "picking your friend up when he falls". Joshua ang (i'm sorry i'm just not used to calling them by character name) stuck by shawn lee throughout the whole time of him turning rebellious, going against his father, joining the gang, all that. And that time when shawn lee bumped the gangster and he called joshua ang to hurry come help him fight them.
Brothers. A word we use so casually - "brothers and sisters in Christ". Do we really show that kind of brotherly love towards one another? Sail through both rough and smooth seas together? The quality of our friendships now are so PATHETIC. Admit it. What are we gonna do about that?

Talking about the CAC camp. I haven't blogged about it yet right!! Hahaha. Oh but I don't think you want me to start. Ok I shall just write an overview. Haha. Which I bet would be a bore already to most of you. But who cares! :P
You know when you describe church camps, most of the time you either say it's FUN, or it's FULFILLING, right?The 2 main purposes of most church camps. Well I cna give you an example of a really really FUN camp. Last year's ENCOUNTER camp in malacca. It was super enjoyable cause of the friends and BONDING in the 4 days at the hotel(: And I will give you another example - of a fulfilling camp. This one. The combined CAC churches CONNECT! camp. (HA! OH GOSH! IT'S QUINTUPLE ALLITERATION!) I learnt a lot from the rather short 2 days! Can you imagine! Compared to the 4-day camp last year, which I got nothing much out of except warmer friendships! This time the prayer labyrinth was expecially good too. The experience was just very very different from doing it with our own WOW people. And I felt God's presence more REAL this time:) Loved it. Wrote a poem.
BUT they didn't allow us to go out at night! Like, WHY?! Hello!!! It's a 2-day camp!! There's only the first and last night! LET US STAY UP LAH?! Don't that kind of things happen at any and every camp! They had people sitting at the glass door area waiing and watching for people to come outta their rooms. Sigh. Plee, liz, charlene and I played cards in the dark with our handphones as torches before we got really sian. So we slept. Ha.

Just now in the bath I was thinking about things that piss me off real easily. Here's a list I managed to come up with, but obviously I can't remember some.
1. slow internet!
2. people telling me the ending of a show or the results of a reality TV show before I actually watch it for myself. Really. I HATE people telling me that ok so don't ever EVER try it or good luck.
3. people who just cannot or don't want to? pee properly so their pee gets squirted all over the toilet seat?! Or people who don't FLUSH the toilet!
4. annoying noisy childish kids or old ladies who practically shout across the whole bus when talking to someone sitting just next to them

Oh and you know what . I'm still VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY pissed that I didn't get to go walking in the park on friday night at the chalet. I've been harping on that irritating memory for 1 week already. A PERFECT OPPORTUNITY GONE! SHEEESH MAN! THANKS A LOT! Really. Thanks!

Ok my eyes hurt like crap. I need to sleep. TRAINING later today! Oh yes I went cycling just now. FUN:) But that exhilarating feeling was not there cause I just cycled last week and even then just a few months ago we cycled on olly + sihui'a birthday, so yeah no feeling.
